getting settled...
things here in columbia are going GREAT, except for a few things:
- still no job...
- still no furniture...
but, the weather is fab, i have brink and avril here with me, and i went to the BEACH in my all-time favorite city (charleston) yesterday, so i can get over the no-job, no-couch thing :)
and i'm still working on photos from the trip, but here are just a few to tide y'all over:

i'm trying not to be hyperemotional about this even now, so i'll just post the photos (since i know that's what y'all want anyway). dc, i miss you! well, not the anal parking bitches, or the self-important wannabe politicos lurking around every corner. but dc, the idea, i miss you. and of course all of my friends, peter and our wonderful abode. thank you for letting me be a part of the scenery for seven years. i'll be back to visit soon! :)

hey y'all, i'm back from europe. we had such a great time, saw all sorts of incredible places -- you HAVE to check out croatia if you get a chance, it's just too beautiful for words... photos to come shortly, but just wanted to check in and announce my return. hope y'all are doing well!
